IFC Films have released the first trailer and poster for Into the Abyss: A Tale of Death, A Tale of Life.
Directed by revered filmmaker Werner Herzog (Cave of Forgotten Dreams), Into the Abyss focuses on the two men convicted of a triple homicide: one sentenced to death, and the other to life in prison.
Into the Abyss screened at the Venice International Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and was recently awarded the Best Documentary award at the BFI London Film Festival.
Revolver Entertainment will release Herzog’s documentary in the U.K. early next year.
