If you ever wanted to find a reason to come to respect Tom Cruise again, these pictures are that reason. Cruise has always been a fan of doing his own stunts but the stunt he performed at the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building located in Dubai, goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to entertainment.
Below you will find images, thanks to the Daily Mail, of Mr. Cruise hanging out of the observation deck 124 floors up and swinging around the side of the ginormous building while a helicopter was flying ten feet away to capture the scene on film. During the scene, Cruise was required to jump over another actor, scaring both crew and crowd members for his upcoming Mission Impossible film, Ghost Protocol.
Before he actually went up on the building, Cruise alluded to the stunt at MI4 Press Conference stating that “I’ll be spending many days, many hours on the side of this building. I can’t give details, but I will be up there.”
Cruise may still be crazy but at least it’s in a balls-to-the-wall kind of way. Check out the pics below and let us know what you think.
