Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption) has signed on to co-star in Thanks for Sharing.
Robbins will appear opposite Mark Ruffalo (The Brothers Bloom) in writer/producer Stuart Blumberg’s directorial debut.
Thanks for Sharing revolves around characters in a twelve-step program for recovering sex addicts in New York City.
Blumberg, who received an Academy Award nomination for co-writing the breakout indie comedy The Kids Are All Right, wrote the script with Matt Winston.
Gilbert Films and Class 5 will co-produce.
Filming is expected to begin later this year.
