4. What’s Next for Nebula?
Like many comic book movies, Marvel’s have a habit of killing off villains to introduce someone new next time. However, while Ronan deservedly meets his maker, Karen Gillan’s Nebula escapes, leading us to wonder what could be next for her. There’s every chance that she’ll return to Thanos and he’ll know nothing of her betrayal, but there are plenty of other options to explore in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel too. The movie version of the character is quite a bit different to her comic book counterpart in some ways, but Nebula does at one point get her hands on the Infinity Gauntlet and banishes Thanos before using it to heal herself before attempting to conquer the universe. Regardless of whether this happens, don’t be surprised to see her pop up again soon…
