5. Another Infinity Stone
As many comic book fans suspected, Guardians of the Galaxy’s MacGuffin is another of the Infinity Stones. Now in the possession of the Nova Corps, how exactly Thanos is going to get his hands on all of these remains to be seen. The Tesseract (from Captain America: The First Avenger and Avengers Assemble) is in Asgard, Loki’s staff – given to him by Thanos – is in the hands of Hydra, and the Aether is still seemingly part of The Collector’s collection. Thanos will need six of them before he’s able to wield the Infinity Gauntlet, so where the other two are remains to be seen. Either way, now that we’ve been introduced to Josh Brolin’s take on the villain, expect his hunt for the Infinity Stone to take a step to the next level as we build towards The Avengers 3 and beyond…

Yeah, I guess many people may have missed Thanos, Groot, the Infinity Stones and the big fat floating Celestial head because… euh… they watched the film with their eyes closed?
C’mon, man, I know you need to get clicks, but apart from the Howard the duck scene, I think everybody has seen this.
Why not try reading the article before you comment Boinez? This feature clearly explains the significance of those scenes to the people who will have watched it this weekend and don’t necessarily know their significance. The people I watched with didn’t know who Cosmo was and wouldn’t appreciate the importance of an Infinity Stone in the MCU if I shoved one up their nose. Not everyone reads the comics.

Did anyone else notice Howard the Duck over The Collector’s left shoulder when the Guardians first enter his abode? Blink and you’ll miss it.
Why did they have to bring in Howard the Duck? He is the lamest Marvel character ever!
AGREED idk y they didn’t just do the Adam Warlock cacoon breaking scene like I heard it would b the Cosmo in it wasn’t as bad but after they showed Cosmo they should have went to Warlocks cocoon laying on the ground n a big crack just cracks threw it then cut to credits it woulda been wayway way way way WAY BETTER then Howard the duck that almost ruined the whole movie for me
I feel like I’m going crazy here and I might have to watch it again to check but I’m sure I saw Mel Brooks as one of the prison inmates.
Did anyone else spot the figure in the long red cape kept in a cage behind the collector? His back was to the camera but that cape was similar to the one Thor wears, could this have been a nod towards Beta Ray Bill?
I saw it, but didn’t notice the dark elf in The Collector’s collection. I regretfully went to the bathroom twice, and as a result missed small parts of the movie. Also, it’s just an excuse to talk about Guardians of the Galaxy.
