9. The Other Buyer
This is pure speculation, but it does appear throughout the movie that there’s another interested party in getting their hands on this Infinity Stone. Even if we assume that the Broker was going to sell to The Collector, who does Yondu intend on selling it to near the end of the movie? We could of course just guess that it’s another representative for Thanos, but Yondu doesn’t seem at all bothered about not selling it, so perhaps he was just hoping to find someone? Either way, if there is another cosmic character after the Infinity Stones, that would add an interesting wrinkle and allows for the introduction of someone like Adam Warlock’s evil alter-ego, the Magus. For now though, we know that Thanos desperately wants them, and that should be challenge enough for the heroes!

Yeah, I guess many people may have missed Thanos, Groot, the Infinity Stones and the big fat floating Celestial head because… euh… they watched the film with their eyes closed?
C’mon, man, I know you need to get clicks, but apart from the Howard the duck scene, I think everybody has seen this.
Why not try reading the article before you comment Boinez? This feature clearly explains the significance of those scenes to the people who will have watched it this weekend and don’t necessarily know their significance. The people I watched with didn’t know who Cosmo was and wouldn’t appreciate the importance of an Infinity Stone in the MCU if I shoved one up their nose. Not everyone reads the comics.

Did anyone else notice Howard the Duck over The Collector’s left shoulder when the Guardians first enter his abode? Blink and you’ll miss it.
Why did they have to bring in Howard the Duck? He is the lamest Marvel character ever!
AGREED idk y they didn’t just do the Adam Warlock cacoon breaking scene like I heard it would b the Cosmo in it wasn’t as bad but after they showed Cosmo they should have went to Warlocks cocoon laying on the ground n a big crack just cracks threw it then cut to credits it woulda been wayway way way way WAY BETTER then Howard the duck that almost ruined the whole movie for me

Did anyone else spot the figure in the long red cape kept in a cage behind the collector? His back was to the camera but that cape was similar to the one Thor wears, could this have been a nod towards Beta Ray Bill?
I saw it, but didn’t notice the dark elf in The Collector’s collection. I regretfully went to the bathroom twice, and as a result missed small parts of the movie. Also, it’s just an excuse to talk about Guardians of the Galaxy.
