The Vanished is an intelligent crime thriller about a couple who discover their young daughter has gone missing, and to mark the release of the film we spoke to the film’s leading lady, Anne Heche. Chatting via Zoom, Heche discusses with us the attraction of this project and how challenging it was to place herself in the mind-set of the character.

She also comments on collaborating – again – with Thomas Jane, while we discuss with her a past on-screen relationship she shared with Sandra Oh in the brilliant Catfight. We also ask her about her career in film as following her huge rise in the 90s she’s always remained somewhat grounded and out of the spotlight, and she tells us how she navigated her way around this tricky landscape.

Synopsis
