Ahoy, SpongeBob fans! Paramount Pictures UK has dropped the trailer for ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,’ the high-seas chapter in everyone’s favourite undersea saga. The film sails into cinemas on December 20, promising the biggest, boldest, and bubbliest SpongeBob adventure yet.
In this all-new cinematic event, SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom buddies are headed where no sponge has gone before. Determined to prove his courage to Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob sets out on a daring quest to follow The Flying Dutchman—a mysterious, ghostly pirate whose legend looms large beneath the waves. What follows is a wild, seafaring comedy adventure filled with shipwrecks, treasures, and a whole lot of jellyfishing chaos.
Based on the beloved Nickelodeon series created by Stephen Hillenburg, the film is directed by Derek Drymon (The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie). Returning voice stars include Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton).
They’re joined by an exciting lineup of new voices, including George Lopez, Isis “Ice Spice” Gaston, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, Regina Hall, and the legendary Mark Hamill.
