To celebrate the release of The Secrets We Keep, which opens in US cinemas this week, we sat down with two of its stars to chat about the thrilling new drama.

Friends for many years, Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) and Joel Kinnaman (The Suicide Squad) were looking for a new project to make together and settled on this tense drama that deals with the fallout from World War II and its effects on those on the front lines. Both said they loved the chance to work together and the nature of the story allowed them to both navigate different spaces as actors and as friends.

In post-WWII America, a woman (Noomi Rapace), rebuilding her life in the suburbs with her husband (Chris Messina), kidnaps her neighbor (Joel Kinnaman) and seeks vengeance for the heinous war crimes she believes he committed against her. Directed by Yuval Adler from a script by Ryan Covington and Yuval Adler.
