Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut, The Lost Daughter, came to the capital last night for its red carpet Premiere at the London Film Festival. The Lost Daughter stars Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, Peter Sarsgaard, Jack Farthing, Robin Elwell and Ellie Blake. The film is based on the book by Elena Ferrante.
Plot: A woman’s beach vacation takes a dark turn when she begins to confront the troubles of her past.
