To celebrate the release of The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, the new series coming to Apple TV+, we had the pleasure of chatting to its incredible ensemble about the touching new show.

“The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey” stars Samuel L. Jackson as Ptolemy Grey, an ailing man forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn, played by BAFTA Award nominee Dominique Fishback (“Judas and the Black Messiah”). When they learn about a treatment that can restore Ptolemy’s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present, and future.

Chatting to cast members Dominique Fishback, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams (Sensia), Marsha Stephanie Blake (Niecie), and Omar Benson Miller (Reggie), we spoke about the show’s warm yet important narrative and messages, working with an icon like Jackson – for whom the show was a very personal one -, why they fell in love with their characters and much more.
