This week sees the UK cinema release of The Hunt, the controversial film that was delayed last year following the the Dayton and El Paso mass shootings. The Blumhouse film was highly anticipated, yet was pulled from the release schedule in August 2019 following a backlash due to the film’s supposed subject matter. Seven months later audiences are now allowed to see what all the fuss is about, and we spoke to Betty Gilpin, Ike Barinholtz, writer Damon Lindelof and producer Jason Blum to find out about that fuss.

The film stars Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, Ike Barinholtz, Wayne Duvall, Ethan Suplee, Emma Roberts, Christopher Barry, Sturgill Simpson, Kate Nowlin, Amy Madigan and Reed Birney. It was directed by Craig Zobel and written by Nick Cuse and Damon Lindelof.

These interviews were  conducted by DaniElle DeLaite. The Hunt is out in cinemas this Wednesday 11th March
