Ridley Scott’s anticipated The Counselor boasts one of the most impressive casts of the year, and it’s no secret that the buzz surrounding it has it pegged as one of the year’s most promising films.
With little more than a month to go before it arrives on US shores, Fox have been building the campaign around the film nicely. And now they’ve released a new set of character posters, along with an international poster featuring all five of the leading cast.
Legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott and Pulitzer Prize winning author Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men) have joined forces in the motion picture thriller THE COUNSELOR, starring Michael Fassbender, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, and Brad Pitt. McCarthy, making his screenwriting debut and Scott interweave the author’s characteristic wit and dark humor with a nightmarish scenario, in which a respected lawyer’s one-time dalliance with an illegal business deal spirals out of control.
Michael Fassbender is front and centre, with Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz, and Brad Pitt completing the leading ensemble very nicely.
Scott is directing from a script penned by Cormac McCarthy, the author behind No Country for Old Men, with McCarthy making his debut here as a screenwriter.
The Counselor, known in the UK as The Counsellor, will be released in the States on October 25th, following shortly after on our shores on 15th November. For now, here are the new posters, which you can click through to enlarge.
