Amazon Prime has launched a brand new NSFW trailer for new series ‘The Boys’ in which Karl Urban and chums are out for vengeance against the world’s superheroes.
‘The Boys’ tells the story of the Supes committing atrocities, which keep getting swept under the rug because they are revered by the adoring public. Billy Butcher recruits The Boys who have all been wronged by The Seven, the world’s most notorious superheroes, to bring them down and stop the corruption.
Based on the best-selling comics by Garth Ennis, The Boys is a revenge story where the nobodies take on the somebodies. The Amazon Prime series will star Karl Urban, Elizabeth Shue, Jennifer Esposito, Karen Fukuhara, Laz Alonso, Jack Quaid, Tomer Kapon, Chace Crawford, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr and Jessie T. Usher star.
‘Supernatural’ creator Eric Kripke and ‘Preacher’ series creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are all executive producing with the latter two directing the eight-episode first season.
