We’re just two short months away from the release of Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, and things couldn’t be looking better for the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We got the (utterly amazing) first trailer for the film back in October, and more recently saw an amazing new look at the film with its Super Bowl TV Spot.

Word now comes via ComingSoon.net that this week we’ll also be getting a behind-the-scenes look at the film as well as a new trailer, so fans eagerly awaiting the film can be assured that this is going to be a good week!

Entertainment Tonight got to visit the set during filming and interview some of the cast, and they’ll be airing that visit on Tuesday, and have released an advanced promo with a few snippets from Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, which you can see below.

The film’s official Facebook page has also announced that a new trailer will be premiering for the film on iTunes on Wednesday, so keep your eyes peeled! It’s going to be a good week. I think this could be one where we see a bit more of The Hulk. And either way, you can be sure that we’ll be bringing it to you as soon as it hits!

Whedon is directing from his own script, and of course all of our favourite superhero cast from the Marvel Universe will be reprising their roles from recent years, including Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr., with Paul Bettany returning as JARVIS), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo, taking over from Edward Norton), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

The Avengers will be with us in 2D and 3D on 27th April here in the UK, before heading across the Atlantic to be released in the US on 4th May. I can’t wait. For all the rest of our coverage for the film, click here.
