Screen Gems have released the first teaser trailer for upcoming thriller Straw Dogs, a remake, a remake of Sam Peckinpah’s 1971 film.
Written and directed by Rod Lurie (The Contender), Straw Dogs stars Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), James Marsden (The Box), Alexander Skarsgård (Melancholia), Dominic Purcell (The Killer Elite) and James Woods (Casino).
L.A. screenwriter David Sumner (Marsden) relocates with his wife (Bosworth) to her hometown in the deep South. There, while tensions build between them, a brewing conflict with locals becomes a threat to them both.
Straw Dogs will be released in the UK on October 28th.
