Much to the delight of fans, Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie (better known to viewers as Brienne of Tarth) has already been cast in Star Wars Episode VII, but now another familiar face from the hit HBO series has been added to the J.J. Abrams helmed follow-up to Return of the Jedi.

Miltos Yerolemou played swordsman Syrio Forel, and he trained the young Arya Stark to effectively wield a blade in King’s Landing. He’s an accomplished swordsman away from Westeros as well, so him being added to a movie which will see characters swinging around lightsabers is very exciting news indeed!

Though his roe in Star Wars Episode VII is described as not being a major one, you have to imagine that Abrams won’t waste the opportunity to put his incredible skills to good use in the highly anticipated movie.

There have been a lot of different rumours about the villains in the movie (you can find all of that and more by clicking here), but which side Yerolemou falls on remains to be seen!

Starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars Episode VII will be released on December 18th, 2015.
