The Spanish poster for Gulliver’s Travels has been posted online and it seems to suggest a strange mix of modern pop culture references alongside imagery from the time in which the original novel is set, with a Transformer-like robot thrown in for good measure!

Wonder if the team of (Spanish?) designers behind it purposely set out to make the film look as crass as possible? On the other hand however, maybe the poster could be read as a subtle comment on brainless US cinema product and culture destroying another classic of literature.

One thing’s for sure – this is probably as far from the original Jonathan Swift novel as you can possible get!
