Icon Film Distribution has released the official trailer for & Sons, the emotionally charged and darkly comic family drama.
A world-renowned but reclusive novelist, convinced his life is drawing to a close, summons his estranged sons back to the family home. However, rather than seeking forgiveness for the countless mistakes that have driven them apart, he unveils a truly unbelievable secret that unexpectedly brings his beloved ex-wife back into his life.
With years of jealousy, anger and unresolved tensions threatening to boil over, the fractured family must finally face an unavoidable reckoning that could either heal old wounds or destroy what little remains between them.
Leading the stellar cast is Academy Award nominee Bill Nighy (Living, About Time) alongside Academy Award nominee Imelda Staunton (The Crown, Vera Drake). They are joined by BAFTA nominee George MacKay (1917, Rose of Nevada), BAFTA winner Dominic West (The Wire, Downton Abbey), Johnny Flynn (Operation Mincemeat, Ripley), and rising star Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place).
‘& Sons’ is based on the acclaimed novel by David Gilbert and has been adapted for the screen by Academy Award-winning writer Sarah Polley.
