To celebrate the release of Slow Horses, the anticipated adaptation of the best-selling novels, we sat down with its incredible cast to find out all about it.

The new series is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Gary Oldman stars as ‘Jackson Lamb,’ the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies – including River Cartwright (Jack Lowden), Sid Baker (Olivia Cooke), and more – who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.

Speaking to Oldman, Lowden, Cooke, and Saskia Reeves, we chat about the lure of the show and its mix of espionage, thrills and biting British humour, playing secret agents, and anticipation for a second season.
