When the line up for this year’s London Film Festival was announced earlier this month there was a sigh of relief as Michel Hazanavicius?’s film was revealed to be part of the programme.

The short clip that was played in the festival’s opening montage was for some, me included, the first glance of the film which has surprised everyone on the festival circuit and its triumph at Cannes means it arrives in London with both heavy expectation and tangible excitement.

The Artist starsĀ Jean Dujardin?, Berenice Bejo?, John Goodman?, James Cromwell?, Penelope Ann Miller?, Malcolm McDowell? and Missi Pyle? and there are six clips online to give us a flavour of what’s in store.
