The debut feature documentary from Duncan Cowles, Silent Men, tackles the subject of men’s mental health.
The Scottish BAFTA-winning filmmaker partners with Andy’s Man Club, a leading UK men’s mental health charity, where he explores masculinity and how social constructs impact on how men open up about their emotions.
Travelling across the country Cowles chats with strangers and loved-ones alike and at the same time delves into his own issues with being open with his partner, friends and parents.
Silent Men is released in cinemas on International Men’s Day, November 19th.
