Winners, as the oft-glimsped interstitial screens on 80s arcade games reminded us, don’t use drugs. However a lot of people do, and in Denis Villeneuve’s new film we join Emily Blunt is leading the fight against a Mexican cartel boss.
Sicario played very well at Cannes, and with Roger Deakins behind the camera we’re in for a treat. Blunt is proving one of the most versatile and engaging leads right now, and with Benicio Del Toro and Jon Bernthal in support this is one to watch.
