To celebrate the hugely anticipated release of the third season of Sex Education, we had the pleasure of sitting down with some of its cast again to find out what the new season has in store.

After the cliffhanger ending of the second season, we return to Moordale with many changes afoot – we won’t spoil them here in case you haven’t caught up yet but one big change is that of the new headteacher, played by Girls star Jemima Kirke, who plans to turn Moordale back into the pillar of excellence it’s always been, including reintroducing uniforms for the students. It doesn’t go down well.

We were lucky enough to chat with stars Ncuti Gatwa (Eric) and Aimee Lou Wood (Aimee) to chat about the “trilogy” season including their characters finding love, “becoming” parents, the continued importance of representation, inclusion, and sex-positivity of the show, what surprises lay in store and how they feel about either returning for a fourth season or if this will be the natural conclusion of the show.
