The last of our interviews for Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express is with Sergei Polunin (Count Rudolph Andrenyi) and his on-screen wife Lucy Boynton (Countess Elena).

We spoke about the characters they play and the staggeringly impressive cast they collaborated with on this indelible project. Meanwhile Polunin, who is one of the most revered ballet dancers in the world,  speaks about his first acting role, and just how nervous he was when first stepping on to the set.

The pair also speak about the challenges, and joys, in shooting on a train, and whether they were witness to any pranks that had taken place on set (mostly conducted by Tom Bateman and Josh Gad, it seems). We also asked whether they’d read the original Agatha Christie novel the film is based upon, and finally we couldn’t help but ask Boynton about the forthcoming Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and what Rami Malek is like in the leading role.
