Netflix has ordered a ‘Scott Pilgrim’ anime series which will see the entire cast from Edgar Wright’s 2010 movie return.
For the series, Michael Cera will return to the role of Scott Pilgrim, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead will reprise her role as Ramona Flowers.
Also back are Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Satya Bhabha, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman and Ellen Wong.

Original comic creator, Bryan Lee O’Malley, ill serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer along with writer BenDavid Grabinski. Wright is also an executive producer.
Wright stated “Original creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, along with writer Ben David Grabinski, have conjured up an anime series of Scott Pilgrim that doesn’t just expand the universe, but also … well, just watch it. I’m more than happy to announce that I have helped coax the entire original cast back to voice their characters on this epic new adventure. You are in for a treat.”
Anime house Science SARU is providing animation with Abel Góngora directing. Anamanaguchi will create original songs for the film and will handle the score alongside Joseph Trapanese.
