Pictures’ Trouble with the Curve.

Penned by Randy Brown, Trouble with the Curve will tell of a veteran baseball scout (Eastwood) who journeys to Atlanta with his daughter (Bullock) to see a talented player.

Robert Lorenz, who’s served as first assistant director on a number of Eastwood’s directorial efforts, will make his directorial debut with the drama, which is expected to film early next year.

Bullock will next be seen in the heavily buzzed-about Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which is due to open in the U.K. on February 3, 2012.
