RoboCop Remake

RoboCop is one of 2014’s first high profile IMAX releases, and a new poster has been released today to mark the occasion. Sony Pictures seem to be going all out when it comes to promoting José Padilha’s fresh take on the classic 1987 release from Paul Verhoeven, and this poster is no exception.

As we’re sure you’ll agree, it’s a great piece of artwork and teases the inclusion of the fourth directive, although we’ll have to wait and see whether or not it will be featured in the movie itself.

As if that wasn’t enough, two more clips have been released and the first features a fairly spoilery scene with Joel Kinnaman’s (The Killing) Alex Murphy being woken up by OmniCorp’s Dr. Robert Norton (Gary Oldman) from dreaming about his wife (Abbie Cornish) to realising what he’s been turned into. The second is far more action-packed as RoboCop heads into action!

RoboCop also stars Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jay Baruchel, Jackie Earle Haley and Michael Kenneth Williams. It’s set to be released in the US on February 12th and in the UK on February 7th.
