Gal Gadot

Despite the fact that Batman Vs. Superman was recently pushed back to 2016, rumours are still swirling about what we should expect from Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated Man of Steel follow-up. One of the biggest is the role of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, but in an interview with Israeli entertainment show Good Evening with Gai Pines (via Batman-News), the Fast & Furious actress shed some light on how the Amazonian princess will be involved in the DC Cinematic Universe moving forwards.

In the interview, Gadot confirms that she’s signed a three-picture deal, starting with Batman Vs. Superman. As for the other two, a Justice League movie and a Wonder Woman solo outing (depending on how well the character is received) seem extremely likely. The actress was surprisingly candid, adding that she was paid $300,000 for taking the role and that she is due to start shooting in May.

Another Justice League rumour to have surfaced today involves Arrow star Stephen Amell. According to the actor, he has spoken to Warner Bros. about possibly playing Green Arrow on the big screen, a move which would make sense considering the fact that The Flash – a core member of the superhero team – will also be getting his own TV series this year. Both Jason Momoa and Josh Holloway are said to be in the running for Aquaman, but as always, it’s best to take reports like those with a pinch of salt!
