Music star, Rihanna is set to appear in Universal’s new movie, Vattleship accrding to Variety. This will be the singer’s big screen debut and will also star Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch.
Battleship will be helmed by Peter Berg who has previously directed Hancock and The Kingdom and is to be based around the Hasbro board game that has been played for years! According to Wikipedia, it was invented invented by Clifford Von Wickler in the early 1900s. I wonder if he ever thought his simple idea would be turned into a movie!

The movie is set for release May 25th 2012.
