Picturehouse Entertainment has unveiled the new trailer for ‘Rebuilding,’ a quietly powerful drama that explores grief, resilience and the fragile process of starting over after everything is lost.
The film centres on Dusty, played by Josh O’Connor, a ranch owner and divorced father whose life is turned upside down when a devastating wildfire destroys his home. Stripped of the life he once knew, Dusty finds himself living in a close-knit trailer community, slowly piecing together a new future.
As the trailer unfolds, Dusty attempts to rebuild not only his home but also his fractured relationships, particularly with his estranged daughter and his ex-wife, portrayed by Meghann Fahy.
Directed by Max Walker-Silverman, ‘Rebuilding’ is described as a heartfelt portrait of resilience in the aftermath of tragedy. The film focuses on small, intimate moments rather than sweeping spectacle, following Dusty as he gradually reconnects with the people he once held closest.
