The legion of fans who make up the horror film community are almost unchallenged in their fervour and championing of a new star in their cinematic sky. The new film from directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett has been making great waves on the festival circuit, and in a couple of days the UK will get a taste of it, Ready or Not.
James Kleinmann sat down with actors Samara Weaving and Andie MacDowell, directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett & Producer Chad Villella to talk about their new horror comedy.
During the interview with Weaving and MacDowell they recount a hilarious story where on the first day of filming Samara Weaving ended up punching Andie MacDowell in the head causing an egg to appear!
Speaking to the production team the conversation turns to how they all work so well together, what it was about Samara Weaving Andie MacDowell that made them so right for the role, what it is about horror and comedy that works so well together and what it was like watching audiences react to the scares.
