Hare, best known for his Oscar-nominated screenplays, will write and direct the spy thriller, with Christine Langan, David Heyman and David Barron producing.
Weisz will play a beguiling woman of mystery, Nighy a MI5 operative threatened by Weisz’s character, and Gambon the head of security services. Fiennes and Davis’ roles are currently unknown.
Shooting is expected to commence in January.
