During season one of Daredevil, Marvel and Netflix kept us waiting until episode thirteen to see The Man Without Fear don his iconic costume, but a blurry image of that suit leaked online just days before the show was set to premiere on the online streaming service.
They’ve clearly learned from that anyway, as Marvel has today unveiled the costumes which will be worn by Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Elodie Yung’s Elektra in this year’s series.

Daredevil has also received something of an upgrade, but it’s these two who are by far the most interesting, especially as neither of their costumes have been featured in footage from the show. That iconic skull logo looks great, while Elektra’s updated suit also works well.
The first season of Daredevil was hailed as Marvel’s best adaptation yet, and while shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter have stumbled a little, these Netflix dramas have been exceptional so far, and these costumes really do look amazing. Of course, one thing fans are really hoping to see is Matt Murdock getting that iconic “DD” logo on his chest!
