Prime Video has lifted the curtain on its highly anticipated live-action series ‘Spider-Noir,’ unveiling a slate of first-look images that plunge viewers into a shadow-drenched vision of 1930s New York. The series stars Nicolas Cage in his first leading role for television and is set to premiere worldwide in Spring 2026.
The newly released images introduce the key figures orbiting Cage’s weary hero, painting a portrait of a city where trench coats carry secrets and every neon glow hints at danger.

Cage plays Ben Reilly, once the masked vigilante known as “The Spider.” After a devastating personal tragedy forced him to abandon heroics, Reilly now scrapes by as a down-on-his-luck private investigator. Yet the past has a way of tapping on the window at midnight, and an extraordinary case may be the only thing capable of pulling him back behind the mask.

Lamorne Morris appears as Robbie Robertson, a determined journalist fighting to carve out a future in a city stacked against him. His loyalty to Ben runs deep, even as ambition nudges him toward risky choices.

Li Jun Li plays Cat Hardy, the magnetic star of New York’s most glamorous nightclub, whose self-serving façade conceals deeper complexities.

Karen Rodriguez rounds out the central quartet as Janet, Ben’s sharp, fiercely loyal secretary who refuses to stay silent when truth needs saying.
Based on the Marvel comic ‘Spider-Man Noir,’ the live-action drama follows a seasoned, world-weary Ben Reilly navigating crime, memory, and redemption in a city that already believes it has lost its only superhero.

The ensemble cast also includes Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson, with guest appearances from Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.
Behind the camera, the project carries serious creative gravity. Harry Bradbeer directs and executive-produces the first two episodes, while Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. The series was developed alongside the Oscar-winning creative team behind ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ — Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal — with production from Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video.
‘Spider-Noir’ will stream in two formats: “Authentic Black & White” for moody purists and “True-Hue Full Color” for viewers who prefer their noir with a splash of modern vibrancy.
