Focus Features has released the gripping first trailer for ‘Pressure,’ a high-stakes historical thriller set during the harrowing 72 hours before D-Day. With the fate of the free world balanced on a razor’s edge, the film zeroes in on the men tasked with making one of the most consequential decisions in modern history.

Directed by Anthony Maras, ‘Pressure’ assembles a formidable cast, including Andrew Scott, Brendan Fraser, Kerry Condon, Chris Messina, and Damian Lewis.

Set against the volatile backdrop of World War II, ‘Pressure’ follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg as they confront an impossible choice: launch the largest and most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or delay the assault and risk catastrophic defeat.

War rooms glow under dim lights, maps stretch across tables like fragile promises, and forecasts become weapons. Nature itself emerges as an unpredictable adversary, with meteorological calculations shaping military destiny. Every glance, every pause, every shifting barometer reading carries the weight of nations.

Brendan Fraser steps into the role of Eisenhower with restrained intensity, portraying a leader burdened not by ego but by consequence. Opposite him, Brendan Fraser’s Captain Stagg becomes the reluctant oracle of the skies, tasked with predicting weather conditions that will determine the success or failure of Operation Overlord.
