Here’s the first poster (via distributor Icon’s Facebook page) for the sequel to the popular British film from 1999, East is East.
Featuring many of the cast members from the first film, the imaginatively titled West is West centres on Sajid (the youngest of the Khan family), who ventures to Punjab in an attempt by his father to straightened his wayward adolescent behaviour. A number of the Salford-based clan decide to tag along too, and confront their heritage and the problems which come with it.
The film is due for release in the UK in February next year, but for now see the grown-up Sajid (who is played by another actor this time around) taking centre stage on the poster.
