Pierce Brosnan and Samuel L. Jackson have jumped on the wagon of the western from director Richard Gray. The project has been secured via the SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement.

Set against the turbulent backdrop of 1870s Montana, the film has been described as a tale of revenge, dark secrets, and buried treasures. Isaac Broadway is executed after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Before his death, he gives his estranged son, Henry Lessard, a seemingly impossible task – to murder the man who set him up. With the intent of fulfilling his father’s wish, Henry travels to the remote town of Trinity. However, he soon finds himself caught between Gabriel Dove – played by Brosnan -, the town’s new sheriff, and a mysterious figure named St. Christopher – played by Jackson -, as an unexpected turn of events traps him in town.

Gray said in a statement: “Thrilled doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel about collaborating with such exceptional talent on Unholy Trinity. It’s a captivating story, and we feel fortunate to be able to make an epic Western during the strike, working alongside SAG every step of the way.

Lee Zachariah wrote the story, while Carter Boehm, Richard Gray, Colin Floom, Michele Gray, Kellie Brooks, and Jeanne Allgood are producing, with Amadeus Productions executive producing.

Filming is currently underway in Montana.
