To celebrate the release of Black Adam, which arrives in cinemas this weekend, we sat down with some of the co-stars of the film to find out all about the latest DC comic-book adaptation.

From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action-adventure “Black Adam.” The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the DC Super Hero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Chatting to stars Pierce Brosnan (Dr. Fate) and Aldis Hodge (Hawkman), we chat about bringing the characters – as well as the Justice Society of America – to the big screen for the very first time, the love/hate relationship with superhero costumes, why Dwayne Johnson’s enthusiasm and 15-year odyssey was enough to get them on-board, their superhero memories from their younger days and, of course, we ask Brosnan about the 30th anniversary of Mrs. Doubtfire next year.
