Disney+ has dropped the official trailer for ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ season two, setting the stage for a breathtaking new quest that plunges deep into mythic seas and uncharted dangers.

Based on ‘The Sea of Monsters,’ the second book in Rick Riordan’s beloved best-selling series, the upcoming season promises a wave of adventure, heart, and high-stakes heroism as Percy and his friends face their most perilous mission yet.

After the magical borders of Camp Half-Blood are breached, Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) must set sail into the fabled Sea of Monsters — better known to mortals as the Bermuda Triangle — to rescue his best friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and recover the one thing that can save their home: the legendary Golden Fleece. Joined by Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), the fierce Clarisse (Dior Goodjohn), and his surprising new ally and cyclops half-brother, Tyson (Daniel Diemer), Percy finds himself on an odyssey filled with monsters, mayhem, and a ticking clock. But lurking beneath the waves is a far greater threat — the dark ambitions of Luke (Charlie Bushnell) and the rising power of the Titan Kronos, whose plan could spell doom for both Camp Half-Blood and Olympus itself.

The returning cast is joined by a host of new faces and fan-favourite stars, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman, Timothy Simons, Virginia Kull, Courtney B. Vance, Andra Day, Adam Copeland, Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, Tamara Smart, Rosemarie DeWitt, Toby Stephens, and more.
