Following in the footsteps of the phenomenal success of The Walking Dead, Fox are bringing writer Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta’s popular comic book Outcast to our TV screens.

Dealing with demonic possession and a friendship which helps a young man hope to rid himself of the forces of evil, Outcast goes up against the newly minted (but possibly obsolete) TV series based on William Peter Blatty’s The Exorcist.

This past weekend at London’s MCM Comic Con Cassam Looch sat down with the key players in the show to answer questions about the new series.

Synopsis: OUTCAST, based on the Skybound/Image comic title by creator Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta, follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson, a preacher with personal demons of his own, Kyle embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate — and the fate of the world — forever.

Here are the panels with Philip Glenister (Life on Mars), Patrick Fugit (Gone Girl), Reg E. Cathey (House of Cards), Kate Lyn Sheil (House of Cards) and Wrenn Schmidt (Boardwalk Empire).

And below you can see the panel they did at the event.

Outcast appears Tuesdays at 10pm on FOX and begins this Tuesday, the 7th of June.
