Well, this sounds interesting, X-Men: Apocalypse’s Olivia Mann will be starring alongside Oscar-winner Helen Hunt, The Maze Runner’s Kaya Scodelario and The Hunger Games Josh Hutcherson in Die in a Gunfight – a film being marketed as an action romance and safe to say, aimed at young adult audiences.

The story will follow two star-crossed lovers – Ben (Hutcherson) and Mary (Scodelario), who share an eagerness to break from the confines of their lives that fuels their passion for each other and leads to an all-out struggle for their love against a backdrop of corporate espionage, revenge, and a long-standing feud between their families.

Die in a Gunfight will be directed by Collin Schiffli, in what could be only his third feature-length project. Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp writers, Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer have penned the screenplay.

Tom Butterfield, Mark Gordon, and Sunday Night’s Allyson Seeger are the producers while Sara Smith of Mark Gordon will be an executive producer.

The What Women Want star, Helen Hunt can currently be seen in the TV series Shots fired in which she plays Governor Patricia Eamons alongside Richard Dreyfuss and Sanaa Lathan. Hunt can also be seen in I Love You, Daddy, Live Like Line and Candy Jar in 2017.

Kaya Scodelario - The Maze Runner - Die in a Gunfight

Scodelario, who starred in this year’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge, will be seen in The King’s Daughter and the third and final Maze Runner saga, The Death Cure in 2018. Hutcherson has been a busy bee since his Hunger Games days and can be seen later in this year in the much-anticipated The Disaster Artist alongside James Franco and Alison Brie. Olivia Munn, next month lends her voice to the character of Koko in the new Lego movie, Lego Ninjago movie and will be starring in the all-female Ocean’s Eight and the next X-Men outing  Dark Phoenix.
