There’s a new trailer in town for the forthcoming horrorshow from Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard, the long awaited The Cabin in the Woods.
I’m in the frustrating and fortunate position of having seen the film, but can’t talk about it (even to tell you if I really enjoyed it – or not). I don’t really want to either as the less you know about this film the better which is why this new trailer does its job well by not giving too much away. Suffice to say that Whedon and Goddard aim to subvert the teen horror clichés and have a lot of fun doing so.
There are hints and clues littered throughout this trailer and if you’re switched on, and are familiar with Whedon’s TV work, you can start to piece the puzzle together but trust me when I say unless you’re extremely keen and have to know everything about this film before it opens on the 13th of April here in the UK I’d avoid it and go in as unspoiled as possible.
