Aside from the eclectic arse-kicking shenanigans dealt out by the new famous five in Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch much has been made of the stunning visuals of the movie seen so far. The trailers and featurettes do much to tease the fantastic world Snyder has created for this new film and every new image released is worth a look.
Say what you like about Snyder’s style (and its usually denoted dominance over substance) he has a fierce visual imagination and throwing all manner of pyrotechnic and visceral violence at us is what he does best, so there’s much riding on this film when it hits UK cinemas on the 1st of April this year.
Snyder’s film features a fantastic female cast, including Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone and Carla Gugino and there’s a snappy synopsis below,
