Following hot on the heels of this poster from the Gavin O’Connor-directed Warrior, we now have a couple more stills, which Coming Soon have kindly scanned from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Warrior sees Tom Hardy (white hot off the back of Inception and set to play Bane in The Dark Knight Rises) as a Mixed Martial Arts fighter, being trained by his father (Nick Nolte). These shots show a glimpse of Nolte training Hardy in the gym, along with Hardy squaring off against his blood-smeared brother, played by Joel Edgerton.
With any luck, none of this will be pretty-fied and we’ll get the down and dirty brawling film we crave and which seems to be on the cards from the style of these shots.
