Starring Dax Shepard (Parenthood) and Kristen Bell (Heroes) in the leads, supported by the ever-rising Bradley Cooper (The Hangover), we caught the great first trailer for Hit & Run last month.

The R-rated action-comedy is due out at the end of the summer in the US, and Yahoo Movies have debuted a new red-band trailer (along with the new poster) to give you a taste of why it earns its rating – so, as you can imagine, this is wholly inappropriate and not suitable for work. And it’s excellent, so come back later if you’re reading this in your office.

“Charlie Bronson, a former getaway driver busts out of the Witness Protection Program to drive his girlfriend to Los Angeles so she can land her dream job. Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, when they are chased by the feds, and increasingly dangerous, when Charlie’s former gang of criminals enter the fray.”

Written by Shepard himself, and co-directed by Shepard and David Palmer, the film also stars Kristin Chenoweth (The West Wing, Glee), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville), Beau Bridges (The Descendants), Tom Arnold (True Lies), and David Koechner (Anchorman).

Hit & Run will be released in the US on 24th August. Here in the UK, we’ll be getting it a little later on 12th October, and it should be a nice action/comedy to brighten what will undoubtedly be a rainy autumn. Here’s a little taste of what you can expect from it. Enjoy.
