Martin McDonagh returns to the big screen next weekend in the US with Seven Psychopaths, coming off a strong debut at TIFF last month – you can read our review here – where it came away with the Midnight Madness Award.

Last year, Gareth Evans’ The Raid took the award, and needless to say, the film has since become something of a huge hit, and Seven Psychopaths looks set to do the same.

Colin Farrell leads a terrific cast, and now Yahoo Movies have debuted a new red-band clip from the film – which, as you can imagine, is not work-appropriate viewing material.

“Written and Directed by Oscar(R)-winner Martin McDonagh, the comedy Seven Psychopaths follows a struggling screenwriter (Colin Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends (Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell) kidnap a gangster’s (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu. Co-starring Abbie Cornish, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko and Zeljko Ivanek.”

Farrell reunites with his In Bruges director, starring alongside Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko, and Tom Waits, with McDonagh directing once more from his own script.

Seven Psychopaths will be released in the US next Friday, 12th October, before coming to the UK a little later for a 7th December release. It’s also been selected to screen at the BFI London Film Festival this month, so if you’re going, be sure to put this on your Must Watch list. Everything we’ve seen from the film so far looks awesome, and I can’t wait for it to arrive in our theatres. For now, here’s the great new clip, and one final reminder: It’s a red-band clip, so not suitable for work. Enjoy.
