After years of crafting gorgeous shorts with which to precede their features, it looks as though a little Pixar magic has finally rubbed off on the House of Mouse.

According to /Film, who attended the studio’s D23 expo, Tangled’s directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard are preparing to unveil Tangled Ever After.

And I really mean finally, particularly after Warner Bros. rose to the challenge with a set of outstanding 3D Looney Tune shorts which appeared before the likes of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, Cats and Dogs 2: The Revenge of Kitty Galore and Yogi Bear.

Following the announcement that a new Toy Story short is to play before prints of The Muppets next year, a poster has now been released for a post-script to Disney’s Tangled.

While plot details are currently under wraps, the poster suggests that the film’s entire compliment of characters are set to return, alongside a few telling additions.

Rather than precede the studio’s next theatrical release, however, Tangled Ever After will instead première on the Disney channel in the Spring of next year.
