Here’s the first poster for Disney’s new movie, Secretariat which is based around the true life story of a horse that basically won everything. The movie is directed by Randall Wallace (who wrote Braveheart) and stars John Malkovich, Diane Lane, Scott Glenn, James Cromwell and Dylan Walsh.

Spoilers ahead (because it’s a true story!): In 1973, the real Secretariat became the first racehorse to win the U.S. Triple Crown (the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes and Preakness Stakes) after 25 years of no one doing it. After setting many world records, Secretariat died at the age of 19  after being put down due to an infection in one of his hoofs. I guess this will make for a teary ending to the movie.

Check out the new poster below for the movie which is released in the UK 10th December.
