In anticipation for its release in just under a month, EW have debuted four new photos from HBO’s anticipated television adaptation of classic 1970’s sci-fi thriller Westworld, which you can view below.

The new show, created by Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Lisa Joy (Burn Notice) and executive produced by J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), is a reimagining of the 1973 film written and directed by Michael Crichton which starred Yul Brynner, Richard Benjamin and James Brolin.

Ed Harris takes on Brynner’s role as The Gunslinger (now known as The Man In Black) joined by an impressive cast including James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Kundsen, Jeffrey Wright and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, it explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.

The 10-episode season debuts on HBO on October 2nd.
